Job Description
Starting Wage $30 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Night shift (8:00 pm to 8:00 am)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Perform trouble shooting, calibration, and repair of production equipment as needed to always keep lines operational.
-Performs scheduled preventative maintenance to identify and replace failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, etc.
-Can read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
-Dismantles/disassembles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, using specifications and/or blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
-Calibrations and adjustments on various types of devices and production control systems.
-Understands facilities, mechanical/electrical systems and their component functions and relationships; and is competent in their troubleshooting and repair
-Assist other maintenance and production team members as required in support of plant goals.
-Equipment selection - able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to perform the work
Qualifications

-HS Diploma or equivalent
-Maintenance Program Certification or equivalent experience
-5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance capacity in a production setting.
-Demonstrated proficiency or documented certifications in at least 8/10 of the following skills: electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting/programming, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, and pumps.
-Installation, troubleshooting, repair knowledge of electrical systems including 480v and below
-Demonstrated proficiency or documented certifications for diagnosing & troubleshooting 24V controls systems and devices
-Able to interface and cooperate well with production line workers and supervisors, with a strong customer service mindset.
-Demonstrated ability to identify areas of improvement driving efficiency, profitability, or safety improvements.
-Basic math, reading, and computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook)
-Manufacturing safety program familiarity (PPE, LOTO, Arc Flash)
-Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
-Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
-Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with plastic production equipment a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 50lbs.
• Eye/hand coordination.
