Electrical Programming Lead
Location: Armthorpe, Doncaster
Salary: circa A£40,000

The Role
Provide comprehensive support to the Electrical and Commissioning Department, ensuring efficient administration, compliance, organisation, safety standards, technical documentation, and integration of AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary contact for the Electrical Department.
* Hold an 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate (C&G 2382/20).
* Read, interpret, and work with Omron PLC software for programming and equipment commissioning.
* Design and understand electrical control panel systems.
* Maintain and update training records and registers for electrical personnel.
* Supervise electrical installation work both within the Factory and on external sites.
* Plan and manage capacity, priorities, and project timelines effectively.
* Handle breakdowns and coordinate with customers regarding complaints.
* Oversee statutory electrical maintenance schedules, documentation, and corrective actions.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives at the site, focusing on energy efficiency and safety.
* Participate actively in production meetings.
* Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Working Procedures (SWPs) for all equipment.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk assessment library for equipment.
* Complete relevant training and online courses as required.
* Possess recognised electrical qualifications.
* Demonstrate knowledge of control panels and design safety systems.
* Interpret and understand panel drawings proficiently.
