Job Description
As a Maintenance Tech Scholar at Sealed Air, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting advanced machinery and equipment. This role is designed for candidates who are passionate about mechatronics and are eager their knowledge in a real-world manufacturing environment.
Pay rate: $19.00/hr and $1.00 Shift Premium
Shift: Morning
Responsibilities
-Assist in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
-Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
-Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
-Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
-Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment manuals.
-Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
-Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge in mechatronics.
Qualifications
-Currently enrolled in a Mechatronics program or similar technical field.
-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
-Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
-Previous experience or coursework in maintenance or related field is a plus.
