Purpose of Role

Kinross' Technical Services team is looking for a 12 -16 month intern to be a part of the Metallurgy Department.

Job Responsibilities
The Analyst Intern, Metallurgy will assist the corporate metallurgy department in its duties such as:

-Assisting with studies, major projects, or operations support.
-Conducting technical research
-Data processing and writing technical documents Assist with document reviews and site visits.

Minimum Requirements

-2nd or 3rd Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering program with an excellent academic record
-Lodgings in Toronto for the duration of the placement
-Knowledge of metallurgical testing methods and data interpretation
-Strong communication and presentation skills
-Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with little direction

Skills

-Language skills in French, Arabic, Portuguese, or Spanish
-Experience working with culturally diverse teams
-Active extracurriculars
-Strong Excel skills, knowledge of advanced functions
-Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
